Commerical Fire Alarm Systems

Not only is a Fire Alarm your first line of defense when a potential threat breaks out, but it is also a requirement in most jurisdictions if your property meets the criteria set by your local AHJ.  It may seem like a daunting task to acheive these standards, but with AtEase, we have you covered in making sure your property meets the safety standards set by the NFPA.

Design and Review

Each alarm system we design is unique to the property and created by our NICET certified staff. The plan is sent to your local AHJ, and once approved, the installation can begin

Installation

Our professional staff will bring the plan to fruition by installing all required devices and integrating our system with existing fire protection systems like sprinklers, Ansul hoods, etc.  Programming is completed onsite to ensure that there is proper communication with the monitoring entity.

Inspection and Assurances

Once the installation is complete, we will complete an inspection of the system with your local AHJ to ensure that each device is working correctly.  Once complete, you will have a fully operational fire alarm system that monitors your property 24/7.

Control Panels

Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panels

Fire-Lite offers a complete line of Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP) that meet a range of needs based on each property. Pictured here is the popular ES-200EX that has the capability to support up to 198 addressable devices. Addressable systems use sophisticated technology to pinpoint the exact location of a fire.  Each device communicates with the monitoring entity and provides information such as location and device type. This can be vital information that provides faster response times and simplified maintenance that will lower labor costs over time.

Conventional Fire Alarm Control Panels

Although we recommend addressable systems, for added benefits of faster response times, reliability, scalability, and lowered maintenance costs, Fire-Lite offers a line of reliable conventional panels that would be suitable for smaller commercial buildings.  Communication between devices and the control panel are limited as each device is grouped into a zone that represents a general area of the building. Pictured here is an MS-5UD panel that is compatible with conventional input devices.

Fire Alarm Devices

Addressable Smoke Detectors

Designed for performance and aesthetics, the SD-365 series intelligent smoke detectors are engineered to sense smoke produced by a wide range of combustion sources. Paired with a Fire-Lite addressable panel, the detector's address can be set to provide the exact location for first responders to deal with a fire in its early stages.

Addressable Heat Detectors

The H-365 series are UL-listed intelligent sensors with a state-of-the-art temperature sensor that can be programmed as a 135°F fixed temperature, a rate of rise 135°F fixed temperature or a 195°F high temperature through the FACP.  Like other addressable devices, the H-365 series detectors can be addressed to provide the exact location for emergency services to respond to the danger faster to potentially reduce property damage.

Intelligent Photo-Electric Duct Smoke Detectors

The D-365 series meet NFPA requirements for monitoring the air traveling through the duct work of larger HVAC systems that require duct detectors to be installed in the return air duct.  The primary purpose of duct smoke detection is to prevent panic, injury, and property damage to prevent the distribution of smoke through the supply air duct system.  These detectors are equipped with a relay that will immediately cut power to the fan motor upon the detection of smoke in the duct work.

Fire Alarm Pull Station

The BG-12LX series is a dual-action manual pull station with a key-lock reset feature. Paired with an addressable FACP, the pull station is equipped with a module to provide an addressable alarm initiating point.  These are installed in accordance with NFPA standards and codes set by your local AHJ.

For a fire alarm to meet modern accessibility standards set by the ADA, AV devices are required. Enforced by the AHJ, the devices must be installed in accordance with NFPA 72.  These appliances are used to alert persons of the need to take action and evacuate.  The appliances include, horns, bells, strobes or a combination of these devices to alert occupants of a potentially dangerous situation.

Communicators

StarLink Cellular for Commercial Fire

StarLink LTE models are available in your choice of AT&T or Verizon LTE networks and are compatible with commercial fire alarm panels communicating in Contact ID or 4/2 format. These offer reliable and cost saving options for upgrading from POTS lines or just starting things off right in a new fire alarm install by relieving the burden of having a dedicated leased landline responsible for communication to your central station.
